God says in the quran that there is only one true religion, god's religion. it's the same theme that god revealed to all of the prophets, even before muhammad.
When i go back to the quran i see that the context of revelation is creation in its entirety. the universe is a revelation and this of course includes nature, plants and animals. in other words, what is coming from the quran as rules and objectives are set within the larger scheme of the universe and nature as part of creation.
We should not fool ourselves. when the quran says wa la qad karamna bani adam ["we have honored the children of adam"] so yes we should all be free but this should not mean that we must act against the dignity of human beings.
There is no god but allah and muhammad is god's messenger.
