Team leaders have to connect with their team and themselves. if they don't know their team's strengths and weaknesses, they cannot hand off responsibilities to the team. and if they don't know their own strengths and weaknesses, they will not hand off responsibilities to the team.

Why, just a couple of economic seasons ago, was idle cash considered an indication of bad management or lazy management? because it meant that management didn't have this money out at work ... now look. presto! a new fashion! cash is back in! denigrating liquidity has dropped quicker than hemlines. a management is now saluted if it has some cash, some liquidity, doesn't have to go to the money market at huge interest rates to get the wherewithal to keep going and growing. along with ben franklin, my father and your father would understand and applaud this new economic fashion.

History reports that the men who can manage men manage the men who can manage only things, and the men who can manage money manage all.

What is missing in a lot of urban music is perspective. you hear a lot of regurgitated perspective. it's a lot of: out at the club. had drinks. patrón. big booties. it's this regurgitated idea of living in this, i don't know, one-night-stand moment that always starts at the club and patrón. and so perspective, perspective, perspective is what i'm an advocate of.
