My biggest fear, that 27 percent of americans under 65 have an existing health condition that, without the protections of the affordable care act, would mean they would - could be automatically excluded from insurance coverage. before the aca, they wouldn't have been able to get insurance coverage on the individual market, you know, if you're a freelancer or if you had a small business or the like.

If we do nothing, as the republicans suggest, we're going to see health care costs reach a point where small businesses can't afford it and families can't afford it. we're going to see people turned down from pre-existing conditions. we're going to find the medicare doughnut hole - a gap in coverage that's going to hurt a lot of seniors.

For people who have health insurance, we can provide health insurance reforms that make the insurance they have more secure. and we can do that mostly by using money that every expert agrees is being wasted and is currently in the existing health care system.

The education system is where young skulls full of mush are programmed and propagandized into the system. they are highly valuable. that's why they're subsidized. you know, universities are approaching the same circumstance we have in health care. what it costs is not related at all to market forces. meaning what it costs is not related to what people can afford. you get right down to it, how many americans, how many families can afford 20,000, 30,000, $50,000 a year or semester to send their kids off to college? it has to be subsidized.

Right now in the insurance markets, we have sort of a disaster unfolding, a downward spiral, adverse selection, premiums in the individual market going through the roof. people can't afford insurance and insurance companies are losing hundreds of millions of dollars. if you repeal part of obamacare to get rid of the individual mandate but keep some of the ideas, that people can still buy insurance after they're sick, the situation gets extraordinarily worse. and so what we're seeing now could be tenfold greater if you only repeal part of obamacare.
